Patience: It is the necessary calm, perseverance, diligence, relentlessly application in making a work or any enterprise.

“Do they grow?”, “How much big do they get?”, “Do they grow fast?”. That is of course a right question to ask, we have heard it so many times in the last years that we don’t even notice it anymore. Nevertheless this simple question hides the necessità to see your own air plant growing as fast as possible because we tend to will everything immediately. Today we want to talk about a very fundamental dowry if you wish to have a happy life with your air plants: patience. The word patience comes from the latin patientia (pathein and pathos in old Greek, corporal and spiritual pain). It is the necessary calm, perseverance, diligence, relentlessly application in making a work or any enterprise (wikipedia). Well, to grow a Tillandsia you should have this dowry. It could take some time and empathy to find the right spot to place it. Apart from the tips that we are giving, it is important to understand the amount of water that it needs depending on the level of humidity and the light that it gets. In short, exactly like human beings, air plants need to be welcomed and understood. For this reason taking care of plants is a real zen practice. Thanks to their compulsion to be calm and patient and to observe continuously, plants are a fantastic vehicle to find inner and outer peace. Take your time and observe.
